Where do you train?
I am a mobile trainer. I am available for personal training in a location of your choice. This can be your home or office, an apartment gym, the local park, etc. This makes training super convenient. You don't even have to leave your home. I also have training privileges at the Snap Fitness in Red Oak. Please contact me to discuss the best option for you.
How often do we meet?
Most personal training clients prefer to meet one to three times each week. I can provide guidance for additional workouts during the week. There are many options. We take into consideration your schedule, your fitness level and goals, and your budget. Your training schedule can also be adjusted over time as your needs change.
How long is each session?
In-person training sessions are 45 minutes minimum. I usually suggest clients allow up to 60 minutes. Your first session will be a new client intake and evaluation. This session does sometimes last a bit longer.
What are your rates for personal training?
Rates are based on type of training, frequency of training, number of sessions purchased, number of participants, training location, and more. Please contact me to discuss your specific needs. After a brief discussion I can provide a price quote. Don't worry. I am not a high pressure sales person. I will not try to force you into anything. I just need more info before I can give an accurate price. You can see my basic rate sheet here for a general idea.
What kind of training do you do?
I provide true "personal training". Your plan will be based on several things including your current fitness level and ability, your previous workout experience and injuries, your short term and long term goals, your workout likes/dislikes, and more.
What if I haven't worked out in years (or ever)?
Now is the time to get started. We will start out slowly and gradually advance as you get stronger. This training is about you and helping you improve. That's true regardless of your starting point.
What happens at the personal training consultation?
The consultation is the time we discuss your current fitness level, your goals, the best location for your training, your training schedule, and your cost. It's also your time to ask questions. I only provide consultations for those prepared to start training. It's a good idea for us to iron out a few things via e-mail before scheduling a consultation. Often the entire consultation process is handled without a face to face meeting.
What is online coaching / remote training?
Online coaching is training through our fitness app and additional text or e-mail communication. I use online training to supplement in between personal training sessions. Some clients that have a difficult time scheduling in person sessions with me choose to do a complete online training plan. Just like in-person training my online training plans are customized for the individual client.
Does wellness coaching include fitness training?
Wellness coaching packages are sold both ways. Option 1 includes both wellness coaching and personal training. Option 2 is wellness coaching only. We do still provide suggestions on exercise frequency with this package.
